He was assessed in 2016 and was found to have below average intelligence. He has undergone occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech therapy which was discontinued as he showed good progress. Releyant background information: Prenatal history- Uneventful Birth and developmental history- Adi was born from a full term caesarian section delivery. He had cried immediately after birth. All milestones were delayed. Medical history- Adi suffered from meningitis when he was 25 days old. After which he started having seizures and was diagnosed with hemiparesis. He is unable to use right sided limbs properly. He was under medication for scizures. It has been stopped now. Previous assessment- Developmental Assessment scales for Indian Infants (DASID was administered in 2015: Developmental Quotient 52(Mild sub-normality) Binet Kamat Test of Intelligence was administered in 2016: IQ was found to be 89 (Below Average range). There were symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Test taking behavior: Adi was cooperative. Ile was unable to use his right hand adequately. Test was administered in Marathi and English. Test Administered: Malin’s Intelligence Scale For Indian Children (MISIC): (Indian adaptation of W.LS.C.) The Malin’s Intelligence Scale For Indian Children(MISIC) is a test designed to measure intelligence of children in age group 6 to 15 years. Brief Information about M.1.S.1.C.
