And now, let us welcome on stage our charming and fervent hosts Mr. Jude Cahilig and Ms. Teresa Patron Entrance of Hosts (Intro spiel while walking to center stage) JUDE: Yes Hello Good afternoon Aklan State University! TERESA: Maayad ayad nga hapon mga Ka-Turismo! JUDE: Alright so we are here this afternoon as we lay our eyes in the search for the first ever Mr. and Ms. TM Ambassador 2022. TERESA: And as well witness the journey towards a remarkable show JUDE: Welcome to! BOTH: MR. AND MS. TOURISM MANAGEMENT AMBASSADOR 2022!! TERESA: Good afternoon, Partner! JUDE: Yes Good afternoon too partner. And of course to all of those who are here with us witnessing this grand event. A pleasant and entertaining afternoon to all of you! TERESA: I couldn’t agree more with you partner, and we are so thrilled our fellow Ka-Turismo to join you here in the ASU Campus Grounds. Imagine for two consecutive years, we weren’t able to host face to face events like this, and now we are officially back to celebrate and encourage harmonious relationship with our fellow Ka-Turismo, and surely today, we are making history! JUDE: That’s right, Teresa! I do agree with what you said. We are today making history as this is the very first time in our celebration of Tourism Day 2022 that we are able to host a pageant in the search for Mr and Ms Tourism Management Ambassador! And I know everyone has been anticipating for this, despite the postponement that had happened. Am I right, CHARRMIANS? (Alright, there you go) Partner, how do you find our Tourism Day celebration so far? What’s your favorite part of the event so far/ TERESA: Well of course, as someone who is fond of speaking, my favorite part would be Bugae: The Tourism Promotions Competition since tourism promotions is one of the core skills that a tourism management student should acquire since being in the tourism industry requires good marketing skills. JUDE: For me, I think out of all the segments that we have in our morning event, which I have witnessed earlier, I would say my favorite part was Hinugyaw because I was able to witness the energy coming through from our performers. I can really see that they are eager and fighting! (Lumalaban talaga sila para grades!) But more than that everyone has incredibly did a great job from the performances earlier. So good job students! TERESA: Indeed partner that’s right! So kudos to all the students who have worked hand in hand to materialize this event. From the organizing team, to the contestants, to the D Travelers Society and to the faculty members, under the supervision of our event chair Mr. Roque Santo. JUDE: That’s right partner. Congratulations in advance to all of you here. And of course, I know that everyone is excited to witness what’s in store for us this afternoon. Am I right students? WELCOME MESSAGE TERESA: So without further ado, let’s get this show started! Now, to welcome everyone in our afternoon segment, let us hear a welcome message from our Chairperson of Tourism Management Program, please welcome the remarkable and hardworking chair Prof. Bituin Ednoresfa M. Roquero. INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE JUDE: Thank you very much Prof. Roquero, now to give us an inspirational message. May I call upon our fervent Head of Academic Affairs Unit, please give a hand to the ever supportive and diligent Prof. Jerby J. Paderes.
