Descriptive Essay about Muntinlupa Museum Muntinlupa Museum is a city museum that is located in Tunasan, Muntinlupa. Beaudon Causapin, Muntinlupa's City Architect, designed the museum, which sits on a 3,000 m2 (32,000 sq ft) plot of ground. As a homage to Muntinlupa's fishing industry, which is an important element of the city's economy, the building's exterior was inspired by the salakab, a traditional fishing trap formed from woven bamboo sticks and fastened by rattan rope commonly employed by fishermen operating in the Laguna de Bay. The Museo ng Muntinlupa is a five- storey structure. The ochre columns and wire netting in the buildings were meant to absorb and deflect heat, allowing the temperature to be controlled. With my first glance of looking to Muntinlupa Museum in the photos from internet, I was amazed about its architectural design that it wasn’t just a design for aesthetic view but it also has an inspiration from the traditional tool used by the fishermen operating in Manila Bay. The museum's interior design and how it was created to seem like a chamber from the location where the displayed art originated astounded me. Talking about the construction of the building with an allotted budget of 180 million peso by the city government, which is appreciated by the residents and visitors from other cities. Looking at the structure of the building, it is actually looks like a net, and it is beautiful. In the entrance, the wooden ceiling makes it more aesthetic and I also like its pattern. Considering the color of the wood and the main color of the museum’s net and other neutral colors that blends makes it more pleasing in the eyes as a visitor of the museum and making excitements about the contents inside of the museum. The Museum is a five-storey building which shows the richness of its exhibits that holds the historical values and appreciation of the artworks of different artists. As I explored the museum's material or exhibits, I came across a variety of historical artworks. The exhibition of artifacts and equipment used by the earliest people is one example of this. And it was one of my favorite places inside the museum. And one of my favorite equipment there is the execution chair used by the electricity. I was amazed when I saw it and I think it is cool yet dangerous. In conclusion, I appreciate the Muntinlupa Museum as a whole, not just for its architectural design but also for its contents inside. It's fascinating to view those displays online, and much more so if I were to visit the Museum in person. It would be a lot of fun to consider.
