Hintz This is a CLOSED BOOK Exam Simple electronic calculator functions may be used One page of notes, 8.5x11, both sides may be used Show all of your work. Answers alone may not be sufficient. Correct methodology is important and partial credit will be given. HONOR CODE PLEDGE: "On my honor I have neither given nor received aid on this exam." 1. Write the geometric transformation required to rotate an image 68o clockwise about the point ( x, y ) = ( 111, 23) assuming ( 0, 0 ) is in the upper left corner of the image. Draw the input and output images as blocks. Indicate the direction of the transform. Compute the coordinates in the input image of the pixel ( 13, 32 ) in the output image. 2. Develop geometric transformation equations required to scale an image by 1.45 about the point (x, y) = (32,109) along a line 27 degrees counterclockwise from the x- axis and by 0.27 along a line 18 degrees counterclockwise from the y-axis. 3. Use bilinear interpolation to find the intensity value of an image at location (21.3, 96.7) given that I(21, 96) = 23, I(21, 97) = 54, I(22, 96) = 38, and I(22, 97) = 45. Show all your work.
