But, in order for me to make it happen, | have to act and work hard to reach it. With the help of my parents | made it to college. My parents help us to have a decent life, to continue our schools despite the problem we are facing until today. My mother works as an office worker. They never tell me anything But | know that the money they earned is not enough to pay for my tuition. As a result, | search for a scholarship, to help me pursue my chosen career and also to help my parents as | know they also struggle to earn money for my college. | was 16 years old when | found out | wanted to be a psychologist or maybe psychiatrist. | always wanted to help someone who is in need, those people who suffer from mental problems, disorders and disabilities. | wanted people to see and appreciate how beautiful the world is. Most of all. | want to be their eyes when they couldn't see, their ears when they couldn't hear, their mouth when they couldn't speak and their hand when they needed help. | always remind myself that maybe someday, | will make a difference to the lives of other people. Unfortunately, my family cannot afford to pay for my entire education. So | hope to use my skills and passion for helping someone in terms of their mental health to help me pay for my college. Furthermore, | want to contribute back my knowledge and skills to the society | live in by taking part or start a small activities that will help other people when it comes to mental health and give meaning to their lives. | honestly believe that those activities and programs | expected when | able to become a scholar will help and serve as our training ground. | know that all of my goals will remain dreams if | do not complete my degree. But | will always remain grateful to find an opportunity to apply for Pasig City Scholarship. Therefore, | am committed to working hard in school and looking for more opportunities that could help me make my goals into a reality.
