These devices help us complete tasks easier, connect and communicate with people all over the world and even learn about new things. It empowers us to in a flash communicate over the world, which has dramatically affected how we can stay in contact with family or work with partners working remotely. While this has reached others, it has likewise made it harder to switch off. Speaking with those we know is presently much more straightforward and more helpful than it ever has been, at the risk of making our lives always rushed and busy. Technology can assist or augment and also stunt creativity. If used well, it can open horizons by inspiring new ideas and methods of accomplishing dreams. Being technologically competent can provide an avenue to both academic and career success. Technology is one of the most powerful tools available to individuals and people with disabilities. Technology, including computers, adaptive technology and the Internet, can help maximize independence, productivity, and participation. However, we have to realize that technology, though possessing a lot of good qualities; can be both a bad and good influence. Which is why we need to teach the future generations about the consequences and benefits of technology. If used as a crutch it can serve to empower “them” and decrease the impetus and spark that comes from one’s own ideas and the creative process of discovering how to accomplish them. We have to teach them that there are healthy and unhealthy things about the world we have created for them. In a nutshell, having so much information and control over the things we do at the tip of our fingers is exciting and useful.
