Objective: • Using one or more art media of your choice, you will create a self-portrait. • Your portrait may be realistic, abstract, or non- objective. • You will develop your own set of criteria that I will use to grade your final artwork. • You will write an artist statement to accompany your self-portrait. For the past two years, I have graded your artwork based on a set of criteria that I have developed, now it is your turn. Your final grade will be based on 5 criteria, 4 of which you will choose or create. • Answer the questions for homework. I will collect these on Monday.
