Liza Soberano red- tagging issue After attending Gabriela Youth Webinar, and saying speak up and raise awareness for the rights of women and girls, top military official Lieutenant General Antonio Parlade Jr urged Liza to separate herself with Gabriela to prevent the same incident as Josephine Lapira in 2017 who was killed on a clash between government troops and suspected NPAs. She was also accused as an NPA by a Youtuber named Maui Becker. 2. Tekla and Michelle issue A video went trending online because of a verbal argument between Tekla and his wife Michelle, claiming maltreatment of Tekla on her and their child. However, on a confrontation on Tulfo, Teklas’ friends and manager defended him and got claims that the video was a set-up and Tekla was really doing his best to sustain the needs of Michelle and her child; it ended up that Michelle demands something more- something beyond needs but more of just necessities instead. She even demanded the supply of needs such as food for her sister and family members when in fact, those are none of Tekla’s responsibility or obligation. 3. Dolomite issue This is an issue of our country wherein until now, is still a hot seat over the news and social media- that is because the government spent P389 million on this artificial sand when in fact it seems like this project is not even planned in terms of its long run. First off, the artificial sand can corrode and destroy marine habitats such as corrals. Secondly, heavy rains and tropical typhoons that might result to flooding, storm surges, and high tides and waves could really wash out this artificial sand and its worth hundreds of millions that could’ve been spent to some other better environmental projects that would have better effects in our country in the long run instead. 1.1.
