Hurricanes and Rainbows At times there are things we can't explain, and sadness we can't contain. The world is filled with harsh things, there is pain and grief and sorrow so much worse. I feel fine for a while I talk and smile, Sleep and eat right. But then something happens, All of a sudden, I feel lost. Once again I am left in despair. And when darkness occurs, All I hear is my sincere weeping for escape. I only wanted to feel vigorous, Yet, I get overwhelmed by the emptiness. And it terrifies me that I won’t be able to make it one day. There's still so much to be said, Inside my dying head, But, who am I to complain When I am living in vain? Hey, Life can make us feel unworthy But then, take a deep breath Count from one to three And you’ll be reminded somewhere in the depth That life is blissful and free Ruin is all around And it may pull us into the ground, But, hope can be found Somewhere in this vast universe where we endlessly roam A little smile of hope Could brighten the path we cope. We have tomorrow Sparkling before us like a flame. Grenades and bomb drops may get in our way, but we will not let them make us fade away. Hurricanes and tornadoes, We can turn them into rainbows.
