Standing up for what is right is a lonesome journey because for me it opposes with those people who believe and considered the “cool, popularity, current, trend, sophisticated, etc.” According to my understanding, there are some things that are acceptable, and some things are not. I also believe that “there is nothing new under the sun.” Selfishness has been a problem for centuries. So, has the “my way or the highway” mentality. It has, at times, conflicted withstanding for what is right. Sometimes when speaking the truth, it feels like the world is turning against us. Sometimes, some people don’t want you to be happy, sometimes when we are trying to stand up, people knocked us down. The crowd doesn’t appreciate it when it’s not accepted by the society’s standards. It’s hard to say but in this generation, we are living under society’s standards. We forgot to live on our own because when you choose what is right for you, it’s like choosing a natrow road wherein it’s just you who fits on that road. For me taking decisions in life is like choosing between wide road or a narrow road. For wide and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Doing the right thing we take a path less traveled because it’s a narrow road directly to your destination. For me, it can be that it is lonesome journey, or it can somehow tur to be the most satisfying journey in your life. So, for me I wouldn’t call it lonesome, I would call it thrilling. I learned to be independent, I learn many things, I study well and focus to my studies, it’s not lonesome because I have my hobby that makes me happy. I tealize that being alone doesn’t mean lonely, but also finding happiness and finding the right path directly to your goals.
