Monday, October 3 The ABC’s of Anger Management Tuesday, October 4 Understanding & Reducing Stress Wednesday, October 5 Anxiety: Inside & Outside of the Classroom Thursday, October 6 7 Types of Depression & When to Seek Help For more information, visit the Office of Psychological Services in Loew Hall, room 211, or call 718.289.5100, ext. 3125. 2012 Garfinkel Essay Contest The 2012 Garfinkel Essay Contest of the Historical Society of the Courts of the State of New York is open to students, from all academic disciplines, registered in CUNY and SUNY community colleges for the fall semester of 2011 or the spring semester of 2012. The topic of the essay, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, “The Blue and the Gray: New York During the Civil War.” The contest will award a $1,500 first prize, a $1,000 second prize and a $750 third prize.
