Depending on the object, it’s a positive obligation (the duty of performance consists on giving or doing something), a specific obligation (individually determined), a simple obligation (only one object is involved), an indivisible obligation (have to be completely fulfilled) and a principal obligation (the duty of performance is the main object). Depending on the bond created by the obligation, it’s a bilateral obligation and a pure obligation. Depending on the persons subject to it, it’s a passive joint obligation. 2.
