REPRODUCTION Reproduction is done by asexually with formation of spores. Spores are produced in such a large number that whole inflorescence transferred into black powdery mass. Spores are called as teleotospores or chlymadospores Each spore is uni or binucleate. ¢ Covered Smut: In covered Smut,the spores are enclosed by memberouse covering of grains.They are not exposed to air They are liberated when grain in broken. Example: Loose smut of barley,sugar cane
