Cinematography Introduction Film as part of the mass media in the study of mass communication modern is considered to have an influence on the audience. The influence appears actually a possibility that really depends on the process negotiation of meaning by the audience towards the message of the film, and referring to it on the success of the audience in the process of negotiating the meaning of the message be delivered. If the negotiation of meaning by the audience is weak, the greater the influence of the broadcast (McQuaill, 1997). Negotiation of meaning is a transactional process of communication, where communication receives and interprets the meaning of the message accepted according to their socio-cultural background. Film as a form of mass media has an important role in the socio-cultural, artistic, political and scientific worlds. Use of film in this community learning is partly based on the consideration that film has the ability to attract people’s attention and partly in based on the reason that the film has the ability to deliver messages unquely (McQuai, 1997). In addition, film is one of the media cheap and simple entertainment. Disscusion The development of film industry will have a big impact In social change. This change was caused by the more varied the process of conveying messages about objective reality and the existing representation of that reality symbolically as well as a different conditions. Film as one type of mass media becomes a channel for various ideas, ideas, concepts and can bring up the plurality of effects from its broadcast that ultimately lead to change on society. The effect of the message that is generated on the film in the packaging there is a symbolic reality that is directly felt by the audience so emotional changes, but there are also those that have a long- term impact such as changes in lifestyle, idealism or even ideology . In the end, film is also seen as a language generate meanings through the system, namely cinematography, sound, editing, and so on, which all such things work as it does language. Apart from functioning as entertainment, films can also be used as a medium to convey an ideology because films can also dismantle something reality and provide enlightenment and awareness in society only, but also attitude and outlook on life in a subtle way. Besides that film also refers to a social process that takes elements culture and use to strengthen the character of a film to persuasive audience. Lots of themes are raised in the film, such as love stories, affairs, and other social stories that sometimes make viiewers are carried away like players who have starred in the film for example being sad, crying, angry and hateful. Based on this, researchers are interested in conducting research on Interest in watching with the title “ANALYSIS OF METHOD EFFECT FILM PROMOTION ON INTEREST IN VIEWING IN THE CINEMA ”. B.
