Project 8: Atari 2600 Game Summary 2 (11/28/2005) So far the design doc has been completed and the name of the game has been decided: Tank Assault. Kurt was busy over Thanksgiving break and did not have time to do much with BASIC. David liked the idea for our game and suggested some improvements. The design doc was filled with some elaborate game ideas full of options, weapons, and armor. We decided on a PowerPoint presentation for the Wednesday class presentation. We set a deadline to get the PowerPoint done by tonight. Then if there was a need for corrections and improvements, all could contribute. Kurt was going to be preparing some basic code to present to class for the presentation. Also, Steve was going to send out a revised game design doc for the ideas proposed by David. The schedule was moved up, changed, and elaborated on with David’s suggestions. More specifically we realized we needed a testing day. We decided on two testing days, one for just us for taking out/adding major features and the other for a completed game. What has been done so far? Game design doc complete.
