THE MODERN REPRESENTATION OF RATIONAL NATURE MANAGEMENT IS CONSIDERED SIMULTANEOUSLY FROM THREE POSITIONS: 1. Economic 2. Social 3. Environmental MAIN COMPONENTS OF NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTALMANAGEMENT - Rational Nature Management is a system of activities that is designed to ensure the economical and efficient exploitation of natural resources, the optimal mode of their reproduction and the preservation of human health. - The interaction of man and the natural environment should be based on the priority of the principles of ecological balance. Features of Rational Use of Natural Resources 1. It puts the study and conservation of natural resources, and not their use, which is characteristic of the traditional “frontal” economy. 2. Has a direct impact on sustainable growth 3. The quality of the environment determines and quality of life. 4. It provides a mode of economical and efficient exploitation of natural resources with the maximum extraction of useful products from them. Basic Principle of Rational Environmental Management Environmental friendly and comprehensively processing of raw materials True rational nature management should not lead to drastic changes in the natural resource potential and should not cause profound changes in the natural environment. - Koryakina, et al., 2021 PRIORITY TASK FOR CREATING SUCH HARMONIOUS RELATIONS BETWEEN NATURE ANDMANKIND: “The construction of a mechanism for nature management that ensures full coordination of the interest of the state, society and man in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources” HumanHabitat - A high-quality and healthy natural environment, it determines such parameters of the quality of life as life expectancy, the level of morbidity. Cañedo Problems in the future due to overpopulation and occurrence of natural disasters 1. Poverty 2. Hunger 3. Shortage of drinking water CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT “Humanity has the ability to make development sustainable to ensure that it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs” - Brundtland, 1987 ACALL FOR ACTION - The report Our Common Future does not forecast perpetual environmental deterioration, poverty, and hardship in a world of escalating pollution and diminishing resources. Instead, they see the potential for a new age of economic growth, one that must be built on measures to maintain and increase the base of environmental resource availability. They also think that such expansion is vitally necessary to alleviate the severe poverty that is spreading over much of the emerging globe. Report of the World Commission on Environment and Development: Our Common Future Concept of Sustainable Development “Poverty is not only an evil in itself, but sustainable development requires meeting the basic needs of all and extending to all opportunities to fulfill their aspirations for a better life” Sustainable Development Is not a FIXED STATE OF HARMONY But rather ● A process of change in which the exploitation of resources, ● The direct of investments ● The orientation of technological development The concept of sustainable development provides a framework for the integration of environment policies and development strategies - the term ‘development’ being used here in its broadest sense.
