In addition, this course will address the major asset classes utilized in investment and capital formation, and, the risks associated with their acquisition and management. COURSE OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this course, you should be able to: 1) Have a firm understanding of the financial system. 2) Differentiate the various types of organization & structure to the banking and financial services industry. 3) Comprehend the function and breadth of the Central Bank. 4) Measure and evaluate performance of various asset classes. 5) Understand the risks of financial intermediation. 6) Understand and calculate various performance measures. 7) Understand and calculate various risks and returns. 8) Demonstrate the components common stocks and bonds. 9) Evaluate components of mutual funds and portfolio management.
