Very good, how about the chemical digestion? So, there are processess that happens in our Digestive System. What do you think is the first one? According to the experimenrt you did earlier? Very good and that process is called Ingestion-the intake of food. How about the second one? Very good, that is called Digestion. Okay, after that you squeezed the stocking right that serves as your small intestine, what happens there? Correct from the word absorb, the process is called absorption. Next, the nutrients are being absrobed by the body in a form of energy, right? Any idea what it is called? Assimilation. Correct. Okay last one, what happened to the unwanted and excess substances in the body according to your activity eralier? Very good and that process is called Excretion. Okay, Class how important it is that we know the process of digestion? Yes, for us to educated and appreciate what our bodies are capable of doing. Anymore ideas? Very Good. So that, we can take of our bosy as it does a lot of work for us and of course we must help our body too. How can we help it? Yes, by eating healthy food and by exercising. Again, what are the five processes of Digestive System? Okay. Ingestion, Absorption, Assimmilation, Excretion And what happens during Ingestion? Yes, it is the the process of intaking food. What happens after ingestion? Of course, the food will then be absorbed thus the process is called absorption. It is the process of absorbing food in the form of nutrients. Next is what? Yes, it is the Assimilation. the process in which the nutrients is absorbed by each cell of the body in the form of energy. Okay, after the nutrients needed by the body is being absorbed, what happens to the unwanted or excess food? Yes, of course it is being excreted in the body and being egested through the rectum H.
