It is the conviction that out of all the peoples on earth God has chosen to reveal Himself in a special, unique way to one particular people. In the Old Testament we see this in the creation of the world, choosing Abraham to be the father of the nation of Israel, and using Israel as an instrument of His salvation. Objects of Election: Events: In the Bible there are several notable events that take place. The important thing to keep in mind is that God is always in control and aware of everything that is happening whether it is His doing or mankind.
