Thus, schools are offering the best quality education system which provides all the competencies that would achieve child’s wholesome learning. However, as time went by, the number of population persists on increasing and as a result, there is also an ineluctable increase in the number of school enrollees. This reality pushed unto one of the particular problems encountered in the public schools, the class size or number of students in every grade level in every classroom. This issue becomes greatly disturbing for it is one of the factors that affects the teacher’s classroom control and managemnt. The bigger the class size is, the more time the teacher will bank on classroom management rather than the actual teacher- learner interaction with an actual academic topic. This is amiss to the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) about Quality Education quoting it is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. With bigger class sizes the pupils are less engaged and not everyone has the opportunity to showcase their talents and ideas. It would be difficult to pursue its goal if both teachers and pupils are struggling with this kind of situation having 30-50 number of pupils per teacher. In pursuit to this study, the researcher will employ qualitative and quantitative approaches to gather significant data. And examine those with the use of comparative method with to realize the objective of determining the effects of class size on learner’s academic performance.
