Those with damaged or forged tickets, or people who have lost or had their ticket stolen will not be allowed access. Entry in to the stadium can be slow. There will be ticket checks and searches by the FC Schalke stewards both in advance and entering the stadium. Tickets are not transferable and cannot be used by any other supporter. Duplicate tickets will not be issued. Take care of your match ticket at all times. Please note, FC Schalke operate an unreserved seating policy once inside your designated block in the away end. Stadium Access: Supporters will not be permitted entry if drunk and German law allows for persons to be breath tested at the turnstiles. Turnstiles open 2-hours before kick-off and supports are advised to arrive early for ticket and security checks prior to entering the stadium. Entry to the stadium for the visiting supporters is split into 2 arrival points. For supporters located in the lower tier blocks V and W, take a left turn at Wegwasser onto Hermann-Eppenhoff-Weg. The south entrance is not far from here. There are 4 full height turnstiles with stewards and police present. A soft ticket check will be conducted on the approach followed by a full body search by stewards. An additional search will be conducted after entry. All remaining supporters, will need to follow Berni-Klodt-Weg to "Eingang Ost 2" (East Entrance 2). This is the route also used by supporters alighting the 302 tram at Gelsenwasser station and the free shuttle buses. The mixed fan zone area is opposite this entrance point. At the entry point supporters enter through a mixed set of turnstiles. 14 waist high roller turnstiles are available for use. Again, a soft ticket check is conducted on the approach route, followed by a search before and after entry. Once through the turnstiles 26 steps lead to the mixed outer concourse. 2 stair towers, TH11 and TH12 lead to the visiting sector upper areas which is access via 4 flights of stairs FC Schalke volunteers will be stood near every entrance and are available to help with any questions. The team all wear green jackets. FC Schalke stewards will conduct the searches and ticket checks with local police officers in support. Police and stewards are present both inside and outside this area. Local Police have stated that supporters will not be allowed in the stadium if: - You do not have a valid match ticket - You have been prohibited from attending sports events in the past - You are visibly drunk or under the effect of narcotics - You are found to be carrying prohibited items Any City supporters in the home areas of stadium face ejection for inappropriate behaviour and this may result in further sanctions being taken by Manchester City Football Club. There is plexiglas surrounding the away section, there is no netting. Items can be purchased with a 'Knappenkarte' card pre-payment scheme available from the kiosks. Category One: Supporters who have been allocated seats in this area should enter the stadium via Ost 2 entrance, TH10. Seats are on Level 3, Block 58 Access Information: Wheelchair supporters are located in the home area on a raised platform, adjacent to the away fans area. Lifts to this area are available. The sterile area entry point at V and W can be used with accessible access. This is also directly alongside the reserved P4 car park. For disabled supporters located in the away end, there is a lift to the upper section. Additional information can also be found on CAFÉ Football website. Acceptable items: Flags or banners 2m x 1.5m; without poles and subject to size, language and content Small personal cameras; no professional equipment, for private use only Prohibited items: NO PYROTECHNICS, SMOKE BOMBS OR FLARES No lighters or electronic cigarettes No megaphones and drums No mobile phone chargers and/or charging packs Professional audio or visual recording equipment No bottles or can will be allowed in to the stadium Police may confiscate any alcohol found on fans outside the stadium; it is an offence to be under the influence of drink and drugs when you enter the stadium. Discretion lies with the FC Schalke stewards as to who is deemed a safety risk, so please drink sensibly or you may face the possibility of not being allowed to enter the arena. Please note the above acceptable and prohibited items is not extensive and is subject to change. The final decision on what will or won’t be allowed in to the stadium lies with FC Schalke and the local police. Luggage: Bags over A4 size are not permitted inside the stadium. Alongside the stadium entry point is the luggage store for oversized bags and the facility remains open after the final whistle. You can store bags and luggage here for free and they are located at the "Eingang Süd" (South entrance) or "Eingang Ost 2" (East entrance 2). You will be given a token that must be returned in order to get your bag back. Respect the Badge: We recognise that most supporters want to watch a football match and not to listen to abusive or indecent language from the stands. Discriminatory behaviour which includes, shouting, chanting or actions such as racist, sectarian, homophobic, sexist or anti-disability behaviour is unacceptable. If you witness incidents like these please get in contact with a steward as soon as you can and report your concerns, this will help us to act on them as quickly as possible. The campaign aims to help to bring the football community closer together, while also ensuring that values such as inclusion, gender equality and the fight against discrimination remain at the forefront of UEFA’s vision and beliefs. #EqualGame is about people and their football stories – for more information: www.equalgame.com Local police have advised that all supporters arrive at the stadium at least 1-hour before kick-off for security checks at the entrance may take some time. Anyone not in the stadium within 15-minutes of kick-off may be delayed in entering the stadium in time for kick-off. POST-MATCH It is likely there will be a hold back. If this is the case, FC Schalke have confirmed there will be access to the concourse area and concessions. Key messages will be announced via the PA system on the night.
