Measure the open-circuit output voltage, VOC, at the output terminals where RL would be connected. Use the lower terminal for the voltmeter’s negative lead. VOC = __________ 2. Remember that an ammeter is inherently a short-circuit itself, so you need only place the ammeter leads the same way you placed the voltmeter leads to complete the circuit.
