Supplies: To get: None—a projector could be used for the handout, but is optional Provided: “The Art of Kissing” practice sheet Directions to Teacher: Give students a copy of “The Art of Kissing” practice sheet. Tell students that they are going to write a paragraph “backing up” their topic/thesis statement/introductory paragraph. (If you think your students need a fully developed introductory paragraph/ thesis statement, you may want to create one yourself). Briefly discuss the importance of developing a topic using facts, quotations, or concrete details.
