Guidelines for evaluated activity 2. 10% Objective: To measure students´ ability to use the present perfect tense expressing in both written and oral communication by asking and answering questions with the structures since/for and ever/never accordingly. Instructions: Read carefully this document and take into account the guidelines to carry out this evaluated activity. This activity will be divided into two parts; oral and written. Part 1. Oral production The oral part will take the form of a short video. You must record the video using mp4 format. General guidelines: Video Quality: Record your video in a well-properly lit place such as an office, study room, meeting room, keep the place clean from any distractor, and a professional environment. If possible, use a video-recording camera or cellphone with a high definition camera so that your face and additional material can be seen. The additional material can be presentations, charts, flashcards, etc. Besides, make sure to avoid any type of interruptions when recording your video, make sure the video has audio and that the written part is attached. Note that the vide must last 3 minutes minimum. This activity will be in pairs. The tutor will decide how you will be organized. Oral expression: The correct use the present perfect tense will be evaluated as part of the grammatical competencies involved in the speaking activity. However, this evaluation is not limited to the use of the present perfect tense. Explanation about how you your performance will be graded Firstly, the rubric for this activity has 11 criteria. The highest score you can get is 5 points per criterion. Therefore, the global score is 55 points. On the other hand, the minimum score you can get is zero “0”. In order to get the grade, 10 will be divided by 55points= 10/55= 0.1818; then, this score will be multiplied by the total number of points you get taking into account all criteria. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you read the rubric and the guidelines before carrying out this activity.
