NANOMEDICINE Nanomedicines have been thoroughly studied for their delivery of drugs that target tumors and to reduce the toxicities or side effects of chaemotherapeutic drugs. (Sun et al., 2020) Lung cancer is one of the most important causes of death among men and women, and nanotechnology is being used to treat it, generating nanostructures as smart weapons to combat it. (Barabadi et al., 2020) Nanoparticles facilitate drug delivery, leading to increased drug accumulation in tumors. Many approaches have been evolutionary under development, providing administration of established chemotherapeutic agents. (Daniel E Shumer, 2017) Cancer patients are considered the most vulnerable in the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic. The relationship between cancer and mortality from this disease is still not entirely clear. The study assesses whether cancer patients with COVID-19 may have an increased risk of severe disease up to mortality. (Zhang et al., 2020) Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in patients who are men, although many of the patients have presented this localized or indolent disease, there is still a proportion of men who progress to advanced metastatic disease for which there is no treatment other than cure it. (Emmett et al., 2017) Colon / rectal cancer is one of the most frequently diagnosed cancers and as it is one of the causes of mortality, it has a higher incidence of metastasis which is one of the main causes of death. (Setia, 2021) Pancreatic cancer is in the fourth place of the main causes of death related to cancer in men and women in the United States, where there are approximately 48,960 new cases and 40,560 deaths. (Ko, 2016) Oral cancer is a debilitating disease and numerous research activities are being carried out to combat the process. Nanotechnology is a very diverse field which has revolutionized industries and set new trends in the management of oral cancer. (Narayan Biswal et al., 2017) A new drug delivery system is nanoparticles, which have provided opportunities to meet the challenges of conventional drug delivery systems. (Abdifetah 8 Na-Bangchang, 2019) The applications of nanoparticles as labels and PT and PA agents for cancer diagnosis and therapy in laser medicine are fast growing research areas. (Pustovalov et al., 2010)
