Joseph conrad was a polish-born british novelist and short story writer, renowned for his works that explore the human condition in the context of imperialism and the sea. Conrad's father was a polish nobleman involved in the polish insurrection against the russians, and his mother died when he was young. He spent his teenage years in marseille and served on french merchant ships, fighting in the carlist wars in spain. Conrad obtained british nationality in 1886 and began writing novels such as 'almayer's folly' and 'heart of darkness.' he is the author of 13 novels, two memoirs, and 28 short stories, with 'nostromo' being considered his masterpiece. Conrad died in england in 1924.

Joseph Conrad He is one of the bri�sh novelist, but he is from Poland, he is considered one of the greatest modern writers. He is the son of Polish nobleman , one of the organizers of the commi�ee that led the Polish insurrec�on against the Russians and finally he arrested in 1961. Later his mother died, and he made contact with the English language because his father translated works of Shakespeare and Victor Hugo. With 16 years he se�led in Marseille. For four years he sailed on French merchant ships, fought in Spain during the Carlist wars in the troops of Don Carlos was on the verge of suicide for a love story. He obtained the Bri�sh na�onality in 1886 and changed his name. In the summer of 1889, he began to write Almayer's Folly, a task that he had to interrupt to turn , the more mysterious and exci�ng of the adventures that lived. Also he wrote another book which is the Heart of Darkness. Is the autor of 13 novels, two memoirs and 28 short stories. The novel Nostromo (1904), is considered by many cri�cs from the masterpiece. Joseph Conrad died on the 3 of Agust in 1924 in England, of a heart a�ack. paulasepugon@gmail.com
