Lucrecia R. Tappan: wife of Mr. Otis 5. Twins: They make pranks to the ghost. 6. Washintong Otis: Eldest son, who helps pranks the ghost. 7. Lord Canterville: Former Mansion Owner  SUMMARY The American family Otis decides to buy an English castle, Canterville Castle from the Canterville family, despite warnings that it was a haunted castle. The family touring the castle sees a stain and the housekeeper tells them that it cannot be removed, but they remove it without any problem, and that night the ghost appears with its noisy chains waking Mr. Otis, but he offers him a bottle of machine oil, and the twins throw pillows, so the ghost decides to disappear. He felt very humiliated and prepared his revenge, so the other night he tried to put on an armor, but being so heavy he fell and made so much noise that he woke up the whole family, and the wife gave him an ointment for the scrapes Virginia, the daughter, decides to support the ghost and goes to look for him, and sees it, but as he had never seen one decides to flee. The next day he realized that the one he saw was false. The bloodstain always appeared, but sometimes more strange tones. The twins did a lot of evil to the ghost, so he walked very carefully around the house.
