An in-depth analysis of the role of genetics in human intelligence. It discusses the components of intelligence, the impact of environmental factors, and the focus on genetics in the context of intelligence. The document delves into the concept of iq, its determination, and the contribution of genetics to it. It also explores the genes that regulate neuron function and their impact on cognitive ability, longevity, and susceptibility to diseases like alzheimer's and schizophrenia. The document concludes by stating that genetics plays a more significant role in intelligence compared to environmental factors.

Genètica i Intel•ligència Humana Introduction: A complicated psychological attribute, intelligence is. It comprises logical thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills. It also calls for the ability to comprehend complex ideas, meaningful data, and abstract thought. It's crucial to learn rapidly and retain information learned from both experience and information resources. Another crucial component of intelligence is the ability to use this knowledge to adapt to one's environment in daily life. A child's upbringing, home environment, educational background, exposure to stimulating events, and nutrition are environmental factors in addition to heredity that have a substantial impact on nurturing and moulding intellect. As a result, genetics and environment combine to produce intelligence. The only aspect of genetics that this review article focuses on. If we talk about relating to human intelligence mostly they will say it's about genetics or about environmental factors and many more, but here we will explain mostly about genetics and its factors. If we talk about IQ there are many aspects and how to determine it, but IQ is about how people have higher intelligence or people are better in mathematical ways of understanding things with better memory retention. It merely has a label which indicates what level you are, maybe as a newborn or a toddler your IQ would be at the first range which is 45 but It says that as you get older you know more things and it affects your knowledge which your IQ gets higher or it will get until 145. Most of the people are basically between 90-110, but some people excel at it which they can range until 145. It says genetics has a better contribution to it because if we think that in your generation of your family all of them have a higher IQ, you will get a higher chance of adopting that, but mostly people say brilliant parents will produce brilliant children as well. However, this is not absolute, it could be that low intellectual parents turn out to have children with high IQ and vice versa. At various phases of intelligence development, genes have an impact. However, over time, these minor changes could have a significant impact on brain function and cognitive ability, particularly during crucial phases of brain development. For polygenic qualities like human intellect, assortative mating or homogamy is important since it increases the heritability of this trait by introducing additive genetic variance. When compared to other qualities like height and weight (around 0.20) and personality (about 0.10), assortative mating for IQ is higher at about 0.40. It is higher for
