Quantifiers can be a single word or a phrase and are used with nouns. They can be used with either a countable or an uncountable noun to express amount or quantity. COUNTABLE / UNCOUNTABLE NOUS COUNTABLE NOUS  Nouns you can count  you can use a / an in front of countable nouns.  Nouns that have a plural form. UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS  Nouns you can´t count  Normally, you can´t use a / an in front of uncountable nouns  Nouns that normally don´t have a plural form  We can make uncountable nouns countable to express quantity.
