Juliá 7th Blue Soccer: The sport began in 1863 in England, when rugby football association football branched off on their different courses and the Football association in England was formed, they become the sport’s first governing. From that different games and variety of styles were developed. They noticed that people enjoyed kicking a ball for thousand years and it was more natural that playing a ball with the hands. They also noticed that it was an art the control of the ball with the feet. Evidenced show that the sport was an exercise from the military in China. Another form of the game, generated in Japan, was the Japanese Kemari. In this sport players will stand in circle and passed the ball to each other, in a small space, trying not to touch the ground. When football was created it generated a lot of enthusiasm. In England the sport was rough and lacking in refinement as ever, but it did find a lot of supporters. One of the supporters was Ricard Mulcaster, the great pedagogue and head of the London schools of Merchant Taylor and ST. Paul’s. He pointed that the sport was needing a few things to promote health and strength. He said the sport was needing a limited number of players, and a good referee. They institute the games of football on Sundays because that day will not conflict with the Sabbath. All evidence of the evolution of football as we know it today took place in Britain. The primitive football was disorganized, more violent, more spontaneous and played by an indefinite number of players. Kicking was allowed, but almost everything else. In that time kicking was to kick the opponent not the ball because it was too small. In 1863 the size and weight of the ball was standardized. In 1866 they also had a game between London and Sheffield were the time of 90 minutes was stablished. In the 19th century it was born a new attitude towards football. The sport was getting a lot of attention from other countries and it was then in Paris in May 1904 that FIFA was founded. The 7 founder members were France, Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. This community started to grow steadily. In 1937 and 1938, the modern day laws of the game were stablished and send out by the FIFA president Stanley Rous. He took the original laws written in 1886 and made some alterations. By the late 1930’s there were 51 FIFA members; in 1950, after the Second World War they reached 73 members. The members continue growing for in 2007 the FIFA congress reported 207 members in every part of the world. Soccer Field Dimensions:
