FRIST WRITING ASSIGNEMENT Learn and enjoy I think the best way of learning any language is listening and speaking that idiom. Trying to communicate with someone that speaks perfectly English, for example, will help you to learn the language in a dynamic way. One of the reasons why I think listening and speaking are the best ways of learning English is because you are enjoying while learning that language, so it would be easier for you to internalize the structure and the vocabulary. There are different ways of learning English through listening and speaking that had helped me and had made me enjoy the process too. One is to watch series and movies that you would usually watch but in English. The first step is to watch it in English but with Spanish subtitles. Once you have a higher level, you could watch it subtitle in English, and finally, you should try to see the entire movie without subtitles. I think it is important to go gradually, because if you try to watch it directly in English without any support, you may stress and do not enjoy the activity. Another way of learning English practicing your speaking and listening is, like I said, communicating with people that has a good level. You can do this while traveling, for example, but I think that what really helps you to develop English is going to live one or more years to America or Britain. The last funny way to learn that had helped me a lot is listening to songs. Search the lyrics and try to understand the message of the song, then, obviously, sing it! Finally, the principle that is relevant for me is paying attention to the language around you. You will discover that you can learn much more only paying attention to the casual things that you see, read and listen in English that studying all the grammar of a textbook. Paula Badia
