An explanation of the english language usage of 'be used to' and 'get used to'. These verbs are used to describe familiarity with situations or things. 'be used to' is used to describe a state of being accustomed to something, while 'get used to' is used to describe the process of becoming accustomed to something. After using 'be used to' or 'get used to', we use the present participle of a verb. Both verbs can be used in any verb form and with a noun or a pronoun.
