Nelson Mandela was born in South Africa on July 18 in the year of 1918 in a Village called Mvezo, situated in the South Africa. The reason was because of his work against apartheid. Then, he was released in 1990. He and the South African president agreed the South Africa would end apartheid and become a democracy.
