LEARN FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN SPAIN INTRODUCTION The purpose of this report is to name the most popular languages in Spain, to show the people who learn them and the places in where they are taught. In this text can be found some recommendations to improve language learning in this country. THE MOST POPULAR LANGUAGES In spite of the fact that in Spain you can find people from numerous countries, especially in summer, the most spoken secondary language is English. For that reason, servers, shop assistants and even nurses are forced to talk in other tongues such as French, German or Italian. WHO LEARN FOREIGN LANGUAGES AND WHERE THEY DO IT The popularity of English is due to work. Talk and write English fluently are a must if you want to get a good job. Was said before, that in some workplaces that is completely necessary. Consequently, the section of the residents who learn a foreign languages are young as well as middle age people. In the past everyone who wanted to learn a foreign language went to an academy. As a contrast, these days young people do not do that unless they need a certificate.
