Mainly deciduous forest are found in the coastal areas of southern and southwestern parts of Norway. To the east and north forest their are more conifers. Boreal coniferous forests are found in coastal regions and in the valleys of eastern and central Norway. In the highland areas and to far north their is a tundra climate. Were you can find mainly dwarf shrubs and wildflowers but the tundra is treeless. Their are about 2,000 flowering plants that grow in Norway. Bus Means of Transports Ship if you are going to travel to central Norway, the bus you use the most will be the bus, if you travel to the north of Norway you will use the boat Traditions In Norway, they still wear their bunad for weddings and important celebrations, it is the typical costume of Norwegians. Heddal Stave Church The Heddal Stave Church is Norway’s largest stave church, with triple naves that stand proudly against the sky. The church, made entirely of wood, was built in the 13th century; according to local legend, it was built in three days by five farmers. After restorations in the 19th and 20th centuries, the church is still in use today for weddings and Sunday services during the summer months.
