MOTIVE ⁃ They wanted to frame him due to his fame and skin color TIME FRAME ⁃ 12:10am Juny 12th, 1994. Both bodies from Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman were found dead. ⁃ Opening Statements started on January 24th, 1995 ⁃The veredict was given on October 3rd, 1995 EVIDENCE ⁃ Cochran was able to convince that there was reasonable doubt regarding the DNA evidence (relatively new at the time) including the allegation that the blood taken as evidence had been mishandled by laboratory scientists. ⁃ Mzzaluna were related to the mafia and drug trafficking, photos of Nicole were found with famous drug criminals in bed. ⁃ Simpson said he was transtorned when he saw his children associated with the drug trafficking environment in which Nicole was involved. ⁃ Nicole's best friend, Faye Resnick was an addicted to cocaine. After someone tries to come to her house for information she leaves town, she said that Nicole's death was a threat to her to pay her debt. ⁃ There were traces of DNA that did not belong to Simpson or Nicole or Godman. ⁃ PROOF ⁃ Misconduct by Los Angeles Police (RACISM) was reported. ⁃ A hat belonging to OJ Simpson's eldest son was found which was also covered in blood from both victims. ⁃ According to reports, Simpson demanded that he be able to speak to his mother before turning himself in. ⁃ The evidence was on a table for 3 days, and could be manipulated by the 70 or 80 police officers who were there. ⁃ Case information was stolen. ⁃ POLICE REPORT In 1995, Simpson was found not guilty in a criminal murder trial regarding the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.
