¡Descarga White Colonization in North American West: Analysis of Philosophy, Geography, Sociology, A y más Ejercicios en PDF de Idioma Inglés solo en Docsity! My analysis of the phenomenon of white colonisation of the North American West | The colonisation ef BY the white race of the North American West can be seen from the point of view of the next social sciences: + Philosophy: Although it's 1S not a social science, it's 18 (NO SHORT FORMS | INFORMAL WRITING) an humanistic study which must be considered. Talking specifically about how the white race colonised America, we have to get | into the philosophy's ambiREALMt of the ethics, ATTENTION, THERE IS NO POSSESSION IN PHILOSOPHY REALM, “S IS ONLY USED TO EXPRESS POSSESSION OR TEMPORAL PERIODS WO YEARS” TIME ABSTRACT NOUNS DO NOT TAKE ARTICLE. ETHICS, NOT “THE | ETHICS” | | + therefore, we are going to analyse the morality of the European people of the 15% century, because they are the ones that caused this phenomenon, with respect to colonize America: the "arguments”, rather fallacies, that European | people used to convince that colonizINGe America isWAS the best form TO obtain territories are, firstly, that tre-American people supposedly were going better educated, secondly, that the economy of the colonist countries was going to get better (from my point of view, one of the only two truths in this tangle of | lies), and, finally, that the coloniALst countries were going to have naval bases and geographically strategic points in the case of a war (coming back to my point of view, this is the second only truth among all the lies said then). But I | have two counterarguments: the first one is to ask two questionS, 1: could American people get better educated if never they were colonized, with the following consequences?, and 2: how can anyone believe that the best way to improve a culture is to exterminate and enslave it? My second counterargument 1s a sentence which is usually said so that demonstrate that someone is only talking with empty words and which comes from the Latin: it says "excusatio non petita, acusatio manifesta”, in other words, if nobody asks you for explanations, giving them is equivalent to being guilty of your acts. Geography: The good part of colonizINGe America is that we demonstrate that the Earth isn't NOT flat and that itis bigger than European people of the 15% century thought, nevertheless, we must always take into account the philosophic point of view. In addition efT.O this, colonizing America helped to know an enormous continent with a lot of new types of animals, plants, climates, ecosystems...etc., and, more specifically, vehicles like the railway, the car...etc., for example, improveD transport geography. Sociology: In spite of the fact that the form of doING it isn't NOT morally correct, colonizing America helped to discover a lot of cultures which were unknown from the European people's point of view. Anthropology: Colonizing America served to learn about the human rights, why the racism and the xenophobia are bad and also to understand better the pre- Columbian American cultures. Moreover, it serveS now and- AS IT SERVED then to comprehend better the pre-Columbian's primitive life forms and, as a consequence, the Prehistory, due to THE FACT THAT these forms of life are similar to those of prehistory. NOW AND THEN MEANS “DE VEZ EN CUANDO” History: The fact that Cristobal Colón discovered America in 1492 meant the passage from the Middle Ages to the Modern Age, but there exist today some hypothesis (EXCELLENT¡; YOU HAVE USED THERE EXIST) which conjecture that maybe Cristobal Colón wasn't NOTthe discoverer of America because the Vikings and the Templers went to this continent before Colón and thisTHE latter had maps belonging to the Templers with which he could go to America knowing what THEY WERE was-doing. Beyond how America was discovered, thatthis WHICH IN FACT happened, it passed from the Prehistory to the Modern Age to the American continent and to its inhabitants almost suddenly. Politics: The political sphere of the colonization of America has two faces. On the one hand, it was the cause of actual politic organization of all the American continent in every sense (how countries are divided, what are the official languages talked by the people of that nations. ARE..etc.), but, in the other hand,
