An unsolved mystery was the case of the death of Ciro Castillo. Ciro and his girlfriend Rosario were a young couple students at the Agrarian university. Both traveled to Colca. They were visiting several places, but the day they arrived at Colca they were lost in the enormous canyon. Three days passed before they ran out of food and water and lost contact. After a few more days Rosario was found by helicopters with help of rescue brigades. When Rosario was asked why they were not found together, she said that Ciro had gone to get help. After almost six months, Ciro was found death. One theory tells us that Ciro might have fallen accidentally, because he had bruises on his body and his clothes were damaged, that was evidence of a fall. In an Interview Ciro’s father said although Ciro was experienced walking in mountain and camping, they were supposed to take a mountain guide because Colca Canyon is quite a hard route. The second theory is that his girlfriend Rosario may have murdered him. It is believed that she could have pushed Ciro off the mountain or she might have planned his disappearance. Ciro's relatives believe that the accomplice must have been Rosario's ex-boyfriend, with whom she ended up marrying. Ciro's father suspected her and accused her of kill his son, but she said she was innocent. At the end of the investigations, Rosario was not found guilty and the case remained unsolved. 6 REVIEW UNITS FROM 1TO 5 UNIT 1 REVIEW Test yourself on the grammar of the unit.
