PRESENTACIÓ ANGLÈS MÈXIC - RELIGION: In Mexico, most people follow the Catholic religion, which comes from the time when Spain ruled the country. The Virgin of Guadalupe is an important symbol in this religion. Some people are also part of Protestant communities, and there are many who follow indigenous religions. Mexico separates religion from the government, but religion is still a big part of Mexican culture and identity. There are also different religions like Judaism and Islam practiced by some communities. - GOVERNMENT: Mexico is a country with a president in charge. People vote for the president, who leads for six years and can't be re-elected right away. Mexico has different political parties that take turns running the country. They're working hard to fight corruption and make things fair for everyone. - LOCATION: Mexico is located in the center of America. It is bordered by the United States to the north and Guatemala to the south. - CAPITAL: Mexico City, is one of the largest metropolises globally and the political, cultural, and economic center of the country. It is renowned for its rich history, diverse architecture, and vibrant urban life. - AREA: The City of Mexico has a territorial extension of approximately 1,485 square kilometers. - POPULATION: México has a diverse population of around 126 million inhabitants. It is the third most populous country in Latin America and the eleventh globally. - SPOKEN LANGUAGES: In Mexico, the official language is Spanish but there are also numerous indigenous languages spoken throughout the country. - CURRENCY: The official currency of Mexico is the Mexican Peso - TIME ZONE: The majority of the country is in the Central Time Zone (CT), which is UTC-6. - WEATHER: Mexico has diverse climates, ranging from tropical on the coasts to temperate in the central highlands. Coastal areas experience warm temperatures, while mountainous regions can be cooler. Northern deserts have hot days and cooler nights.
