Critica Review – Titanic: inner of 11 Oscars and 3 Grammy Awards, "Titanic" is a dramatic catastrophe film directed and written by James Cameron based on real events from a cruise ship that collided with an iceberg in 1912. The film tells the story of two young men from different social classes: Rose DeWitt Bukater and Jack Dawson who fall in love aboard the Titanic. During the journey, they face various problems that are mainly social class, the acceptance of his family and that Rose was compromised and most importantly the sinking of that great ship, where she loses Jack. After finding the remains of that boat, James Cameron starts with the idea of recreating this historical fact through an almost impossible love story; this becoming one of the highest grossing films in the cinematographic world. W he film is well made, it has good effects, the huge ship, the representation of a tragedy and everything that implies, with the thousands of desperate extras; They also show us the social differences of the time, with those of first and third class and has a very interesting plot that makes almost 3 and a half hours fly away. Although the film was shot a while back, it is still of great importance today. The stunning performances by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet made this story of drama, love and sadness all the more captivating. T n short, I loved the film and despite being so long I have seen it more than five times complete, in addition its plot hooks us and does not let us go. James Cameron always delights us with his works, I think it is an excellent film, entertaining, intense and although it does not have a happy ending it is a beautiful love story that leaves no one indifferent. I recommend it to all those who have not seen it yet to learn a little about the true history of the Titanic and enjoy one of the best films made to date. I
