Reducing the Impacts of Climate Change by Jose Juan Saguilan Vasquez The scientific community in Mexico should form alliances with external scientific communities with a common goal, to reduce the causes of global warming. It is well known that two minds are better than one. In India they have innovated the way in which solar energy is captured through a "solar tree" that they hope will help overcome one of the key challenges facing the country in solar power generation. With photovoltaic panels at different levels on steel branches, "solar trees placed" could reduce the amount of land needed to develop solar parks. In Mexico they have created a biofilter made of peanut shells that degrades air pollutants, the idea is a prototype of a peanut shell filter, which cultivates microorganisms to degrade toxic pollutants into carbon dioxide and water, thus achieving clean air . In New Jersey and elsewhere they have begun experimenting with vertical farming where plants are grown indoors, stacked from floor to ceiling, and the room is carefully controlled so the plants have the best growing conditions. This type of agriculture reduces costs, the use of water by up to 95%, as well as the disuse of pesticides, and maximizes space. With the union of projects like the previous ones, a maximization of the results that would be obtained by uniting various creations and innovations will be achieved, for example: 1. Unite the projects of “solar trees” with vertical agriculture, as well as the functional biofilter of peanut shells and the use of nanotechnology to improve structures and their functions. Engineering has already created great things so far in a relatively short period of time, so introducing it into this proposed model could generate positive responses, generate a "multifunctional tree". Among the benefits that could be obtained are the following: 1.1. Maximization of the spaces already used. With small modifications to vertical agriculture, the spaces that are already being used by the solar tree could be used for the cultivation of various types of plants, in addition, the correct placement of vertical cultivation will leave space for the placement of biofilters, which leads us the following benefit. 1.2. Air purification through biofilters, like a natural tree. The addition of biofilters to trees would give them the ability to have a triple function, improving the already excellent function to be fulfilled by them, which, in the future, will be convenient for the production of renewable energy (solar), crop production and air purification. 1.3. Increased energy storage capacity with the use of nanotechnology. It has been proven that the use of nanotechnology could help create new and better batteries, so adding this technology to the material structure of the base of the "solar tree" will help maximize the use of the energy captured. 2. Participate in projects proposed by different nations. A clear example of this is the CarbFix project, in which various nations, such as the United States and part of the European Union, have contributed knowledge and resources to achieve CO2 storage in a way that is less harmful to the atmosphere. Participating in such projects could mean the application of these in the nation. It should be noted that there are many projects that are still under development and that could mean an improvement to the existing ones, also in my opinion, the battle against climate change is
