Define the concepts according to what you listen to. 2. Find words or expressions in clips that match the definitions or explanations. Trolls/Haters 1. Definition: A troll is someone who makes mean jokes online, trying to offend others in social networks or websites. A hater is someone who dislikes almost everything that he sees online, and often expresses refuse in many comments or posts. 2. Matching a rude or hostile person Jerk making jokes about someone else, usually in a mean way Making fun of someone someone who starts fights with other people Bully start a fight Pick a fight making a comment which has the opposite meaning of the words written in the text Sarcasm don’t respond to the jerks online, just leave them alone, they’ll get bored and go away Don’t feed the jerks Block Someone / Report This / Flag It 1. Definition/s: Blocking someone is to keep someone away from talking to you online, making him unable to contact you. He won’t see your posts or comments anymore. Report something means to inform of something inappropriate to the social network’s moderators. Flag something means to report inappropriate posts or comments, putting a sign on them to alert other users. 2. Matching a little bit too much, too strong, too intense, too forward A little bit overkill remove them from your friends list (usually on Facebook) Unfriend not leaving you alone Harassing you It gets removed from the website Taken down Clickbait 1. Definition Clickbait is when some websites write bizarre headlines to catch your attention and make you click. When you enter the page, the headline results to be false or it was over- exaggerating. 2. Matching trick you or entice you into clicking Hook you into clicking weird, strange Bizarre Fake News 1. Definition Fake news are news which travel so quickly around the internet, but aren’t contrasted and give false information.
