A holiday in Malaga. • When was it? 2017 • Where was it? Malaga, South of Spain • Who was there? The writer’s family – parents, brother and sister • What happened? They had breakfast in a café; they went to the beach; they visited places in Malaga. • Why was the event good/bad? It was good because they forgot problems and they relaxed. How did people feel after the event? The writer felt sad because the holiday was finished. b My favourite holiday was in Spain in 2017. We went to Malaga. It’s a small city in the south of Spain. We stayed there for two weeks. I went with my family – my parents, my brother Toni and my sister, Clara. We stayed in a nice hotel near the sea. Every morning we went to a café for breakfast – the coffee was so good! Then, we went to the beach and relaxed. On the last day, it rained so we went shopping. After breakfast, we took a bus to the shops and bought lots of things. In the afternoon, we visited the Picasso Museum. In the evening, we were tired and went to bed early! It was a great holiday. We forgot our problems. After the holiday, I felt sad. I often think about Malaga. 3 1 a 2 f 3 d 4 b 5 g 6 e 7 c 4–5 Students’ own answers.
