When words sound alike or similar,usually through a repeated vowel sound,and with or without a final consonant. b. Give an example of the following types: - Masculine rhyme- (how/ now) - Feminine rhyme (Sleeping/Creeping) -Triple rhyme (Vanity/humanity) What is the difference between them? The difference between them is that in Masculine rhyme ,the rhyme sound is one acented syllabe,in Femenine rhyme is the same but this accented syllabe is followed by one unaccented syllabe and in Triple rhyme there are trhee consecutives rhyming syllabes. b. What is the difference between initial rhyme, internal rhyme and end rhyme? Well, in initial rhyme the rhyming words occur at the begginings of lines, internal rhyme occurs within a line of verse and end rhyme occurs at the end of th line. c. How many types of end rhyme are there? Can you find an example for each type? Couplet( I want to be with you now but you don't say me how) Enclosed rhyme ( I want to be free like a bird which fly like a bee or a fly like a monkey in a tree) Alternative rhyme ( when I roam I am searching you I need that you be here I don' care If you are in Pekin or Rome but I want you be with me) Interlocking rhyme (Spring is flawless because the days are longer and flowers and trees start to bloom. Autumn is imperfect because the night comes faster. d. Why can we state that versification contributes to the meaning of a poem? Because versification gives essential information to a reader about the theme a genre of a text. e. What is a stanza? What are the most popular stanzas in English? A stanza is a collection of lines that together make up a verse paragraph. The most popular stanzas in english are the couplet,the triplet and the quatrain.
