Good morning dear public present today I want to talk about a topic of relevance to the whole world: "Global Warming". Global warming is the greatest environmental challenge facing the planet today. It is caused by the inexorable increase in the concentration in the atmosphere of greenhouse gases related to human activities. Global warming is the cause of climate change. Climate change varies from place to place. For example, the polar areas are warming twice as fast as the rest of the world. Continuing on the current global warming trajectory, the Arctic ice cap could disappear completely within a few decades. This would cause millions of bacteria to be unleashed, thus causing various diseases. The main causes leading to global warming are: - Increase in greenhouse gases and fossil fuel combustion; - Exponential increase in population; - Destruction of terrestrial ecosystems and deforestation; - Destruction of marine ecosystems. If we can remember several of the fires that happened around 2021 in the Amazon and in Africa, we can affirm that these were caused by global warming, I mean that this was caused by man's actions, for example, deforestation. If we stop to think for a second, everything that the poor little animals felt when they saw their habitat burning or worse, feeling that pain or the desperate anguish to survive; we can realize everything we do wrong. Now, let's talk about the disadvantages, which are: - Melting of the poles and sea level rise; - Changes in ecosystems; - Massive migrations; - Acidification of the oceans; - Extinction of species; - And extreme weather phenomena. Imagine living in a world where everything is burned, desolate, without water, where we no longer have everything we have today. Just think how terrible it would be for everyone if this were to happen. Let us not provoke our own extinction, let us make the change from today, let us remember that everything starts from us and that if we want to live in a better world we must make changes and make the promise that we will take care and protect the whole world, because all this is a gift from God, and we cannot fail him and destroy everything he has given us.
