An increase of one unit of Political globalization will suppose a rise of 0.21 units of the Gender Equality Index. An increase of one unit of Economic globalization will suppose a rise of 0.28 units of the Gender Equality Index. POLITICAL GLOBALIZATION ECONOMIC GLOBALIZATION ADDITIONAL RESULTS The two control variables GDP per capita and Women, Business and the Law index are significant, and thus have a positive effect too on the gender equality index, meaning that an increase on any of them supposes an increase in Gender Equality.
