It’s a fact that leading a healthy life is one of the most outstanding facts to do in nearly everyone’s daily routine. In consequence, parents are very worried about their children, not only about the food they eat, but also about the exercise they do. But, are children sufficiently keen on doing exercise? As revealed by uncountable studies, sedentary lifestyle has been seen increased in the recent years. This fact has several causes. Owing to the new technological appliances that have been invented, kids spend time playing videogames, surfing the net or, in other words, in front of the screen rather than playing outdoors. In addition, sports have turned to be based in competition instead of being practiced only for fun. Even though, not everyone has a sport talent so they choose another hobby instead. So, how can we motivate children to be interested in sports? On the one hand, some people believe that the problem resides in the parents’ example. Parents are their children main role model. So as to, if parents grow up their children in believing that doing exercise is more than necessary, they’ll have lots of probabilities to practice sports. On the other hand, kids spend the most part of the day in school. Consequently, exercise should be included in the daily routine not in a competitive way, but like a game. Unless schools teach kids that sports are fun, they won’t be found of doing exercise. In my opinion, both ways will be accurate to brush up children motivation in doing regular exercise. Although, if I only could choose one of them, I’ll say that schools have nearly all the responsibility. If the uninterested in sport kids notice that their classmates prefer to play football or to run playing hide and seek, they will change their minds.
