Still, there are countries that oppress their roles and efforts under radical laws: one of these countries is Saudi Arabia. Ecuador and Saudi Arabia come from different backgrounds which gives them two points of view regarding the topic of woman’s role in society. Comparison Saudi Arabia is a conservative society that is marked by radical laws. The Wahabis laws directly attack the freedom of women. For example, all woman in this country have to go out with the companion of masculine. Decisions as creating a bank account or traveling have to be authorized by their guardian, if a woman does something that dishonors their tutor, this one can and should punish her. Arab women are educated in the belief that their position in society is to raise children, take care of the house and care for the family. In the other hand, Ecuador has a different view in how woman can do and be. In comparison with Saudi Arabia, women here can go anywhere the want without a man. If a woman here wants to work, do sports, drive, they can do it without consulting any male who has authorization in their live. Also, woman can wear anything they want: going from long dresses to really short shorts. Woman in Ecuador are educated in the belief that their position in society is the same as man.
