Tuesday, March 1st, 2022 When talking about the elderly and their environment in society, it is necessary to know theoretical aspects related to their environment that contribute to a better understanding of their situation in order to determine the role of this social group. Aging is recognized as a natural and inevitable process, since, according to the law of life, every living being ages; therefore, it cannot be analyzed as if it were a disease, but simply as a stage of life that must be learned to live and enjoy to the fullest, since in general all life projects have already been achieved and it is time enjoy what has been achieved over the years. When trying to define the older adult or the so-called "third age" indicate that the older person is determined in this way after sixty years; social, biological and chronological factors intervene in this qualification, difficult to describe. Furthermore, older adults can testify that there are aspects of life, such as human and cultural, moral and social values, that are not measured in economic or functional terms, therefore they offer a contribution in the workplace and in that of responsibility. in short, not only to do something for older adults, but to accept them as responsible collaborators, with modalities that enable them to be agents of shared projects, either in the programming, dialogue or action phase. It is essential that the family provides social support, emotional and economic without conditions. In summary of everything written, people at this age are an important piece today, it is an age in which we are all going to logically pass as a stage, and they deserve equal respect, I cannot believe that there are people in this case adolescents that they are disrespected, that is a lack of empathy and therefore they themselves do not deserve respect since respect is earned and is fostered little by little at home. YOUNG PEOPLE TODAY HAVE NO TIME OR RESPECT FOR THE OLD. DO YOU AGREE?
