At just three years old he won the first cover of Time. 2- She studied French, German and music and every time he visited France he spoke French. 3-.At just 14, at the outbreak of World War II, she begs her father to join the deployment and thus enters the Women’s Auxiliary Territorial ser 4- At the age of 18, he trained as a truck driver and mechanic, in 1945; becoming the only member of the royal family, a woman, to really serve his people. 5- Queen Elizabeth II has always had one and only consort: Prince Philip, son of Prince Andrew of Denmark. The two met when they were very young. At the end of 1946 Filippo asked her to marry him and she agreed without first confronting her parents. The wedding budget (1947) was reduced, being redoubled from World War II, so much so that to buy his wedding dress he had to use annonary tiles that, at the time, were used to buy basic necessities and the wedding cake was a wedding gift. 6- She was the first queen to be crowned on live TV, even though she considered it out of place; 7- She was crowned on 2/06/1953, one year after her father's death, in mourning 8- Elisabetta was not a careful and loving mother with any of her four children. But the most affected was the firstborn Charles, who later became Charles III at the mother's side (8 September 2022), first a shy and insecure child, then an awkward and emotional adult. The little prince was raised by babysitters and already from the first months of life he could only see his mother twice a day: after breakfast and after the five o'clock tea. There are not many Christmases spent by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip (who disappeared on April 9, 2021 at the age of 99) in the family; and most of the birthdays of the princes have gone unnoticed by the busy parents. 1 9- The usual bad tongues say that Elisabetta was much more tender with her dogs than with her son Carlo. The fame of the corges, small and crude shepherd dogs, is due to the affection that Elizabeth has nurtured for them since childhood. It was 1933 when the Duke of York gave his daughters two pembroke dogs, a variant of the welsh corgi, Jane and Dookie. At 18, Elizabeth received Susan, the first puppy all her own. Since then, he has raised dozens. She also had dogs of other breeds, but her passion was corges: Elizabeth is said to take them with a teaspoon of silver with freshly cooked foods, and let them run everywhere, free to sleep on royal brocades. When, 30 years ago, one of her valets asked her what she missed most when she was travelling, Elizabeth did not hesitate to answer: the dogs. 10- Elisabetta was a neat little girl to the point of obsession and very thrifty. Probably the result of the education she received: from a young age she was taught the sense of saving which also included the obligation to recycle, for later packaging, the paper of the gifts received. However, the avarice must have been stuck on her if, it is said, at the request of his son Carlo to be able to take some furniture stacked in the cellar, it is said that he replied: "If you want to buy them". 11-Elisabetta knew how to drive very well, but despite her passion for driving, she never had a driver's license. He was one of the few people in the world who didn't need it. In Britain, in fact, this document is issued in the name of her majesty and it made no sense for the queen to confer it to herself. 12- Even a short meeting with the queen required compliance with precise rules. She touched her first word, often with the classic ‘come from afar’, the most used phrase. To answer her, the first time, the form His Royal Highness was used, later a Lady was enough. 13- The queen used the handbag to send coded messages when she wants to be helped get rid of an interlocutor (she passes the handbag from one arm to the other) or simply wants to leave (laying it on the ground). If instead, while standing, she held the bag on the left and the gloves in her right hand, it meant she didn't want to be disturbed. 14- The royal family and the Spencer family, Lady Diana’s family, spent much time together, so much so that the Queen had reserved part of her Althop Hous residence for the family of the now Princess of Wales. 15- Elizabeth had her dresses and skirts sewn inside, so that in case of wind they would not move and kept the same position. 2
